Wiveton, NFK
[O.S. Ref: TG 043 427]
Dedication: St. Mary

The hamlet of Wiveton was a small port until the 17th century when the nearby River Glaven was allowed to silt up. The church stands on the hill overlooking the sea over two miles to the north. The tower and chancel date from the early 14th century, the fine flushwork in the latter may be the earliest in Norfolk.
