[O.S. Ref: SU 968 770]
Dedication: St. George
Ten sovereigns, including Henry VIII, his third wife Jane Seymour, and Charles I are buried in the chapel, a fine example of English Gothic architecture noted for its magnificent stone fan vaulting. Members of the Order of the Garter, the senior order of British Chivalry established in 1348 by Edward III, meet every June for the annual Garter Service held in St George's Chapel.
